Wilson had a go back at a mate of mine near the tunnel when he shouted "that disgraceful Wilson, you don't know what your doing". Wilson shouted back to him could he do better,I think he probably could given todays gutless performance with 1 decent shot at goal.

That sounds like a pretty ill-advised come-back from Wilson after a 0-5 drubbing! Begs the obvious response "well I sure as hell couldn't do any ferkin worse, could I?!"

It's effectively a groan, meaning he's only got these players to deal with.

If DW quit Morgan would be put in charge for rest of season.

Forget sacking Danny, the club has no money to pay up his contract.
What a sorry, sorry state those running our club have left us in.

I have to say its the dross Wilson signed in the summer and Liddle too. Totally unsuitable for league 1. Come back Rushbury.

Danny inherited an unbalanced and expensive squad, assembled by a manager no supporter wanted. The damage inflicted by Saunders signing overpaid crocks will take time to recover from. The manager is the least of our problems and replacing him will only add to our debt. Our club is haemorrhaging money at a rate of 150k a month with a mounting debt that is unsustainable. No one in their right mind would want to invest in our club right now and no manager can wave a magic wand and make crap players suddenly perform miracles on the pitch.

The whole situation is one giant cluster f**k. Thank you Mr Allen.
If only....

I agree that sacking DW would be a costly error as we would end up with Morgan

Genuine question here and not directed at you specifically 'Spire-Power':

Apart from being part of DW's team that isn't shining at this moment in time (putting it mildly), why does everyone have such a downer at the thought of Morgan being a manager? A quick search reveals that in terms of being a first team professional manager his experience is two brief roles as caretaker for 3 games and then a further 7 games in 2013. So that's 10 games using somebody else's players/squad. That's hardly a large sample of data by which to judge his suitability for a future managerial role.

Are people just assuming he would be rubbish as he is part of an under-performing managerial team?

Does anyone actually know (not assume, but actually know) how much of a say Morgan has in training and coaching, tactics, substitutions, formations etc? I suspect not and all the negativity against him is based, not on anything he's done, but on the fact he's part of DW's team... oh and he doesn't wave his arms around!

Don't know but why the hell did we get rid of raglan? Anderson's going backwards and as for Wilson picking di Maio and Liddle as central midfield players you have to question his judgement

I agree he shouldn't have signed Liddle, but Dimiao has shown a bit of promise, yes he has made a few wayward passes but in this side who hasn't. He is not afraid of getting stuck in, is very young and should only improve.
Our problem is O'Neil and that stems back to yet again Saunders. It will take years to rectify his crap, and that is time we haven't got.

We need to stop blaming Saunders- yes he was a poor manager but way better than Danny Wilson

Well we will have to agree to disagree CPS.

Saunders had a big budget and blew it all on XXXXX signings, and his tactics , well I walked out at half time, would rather watch Sunday League football.

Worst manager ever .

I guess- Danny Wilson was a hero as a player and has always been a decent manager but he has been an unmitigated disaster sadly at Town.

Saunders was in a better position at the same stage and also got us into the 3rd FA Cup round? Sacked when we were about 18th in League (and I'm certainly no fan of Saunders)

And we would have finished 13th if the season had started when Wilson took over.
Plus I think we will find, when the next accounts are out, that Saunders had about 30% more to spend on players wages and loans.
Saunders has left a blight (and the blame lies with those above) that will last for years and could see us ultimately fail to survive.

The truth is that they are both proven failures, as are most managers. But due to the old boys brigade scenario they all keep getting jobs.

He did ok last year, after taking over from Deanosaur and guiding to safety.
I look at his signings, and bar for Liddle and Evans all are "ones for the future" but we are asking them to do it now. He is still suffering from being lumbered with Deanos donuts. Ebanks Blake, O'neil, Angel are all taking money out of his budget. Then long term injuries to Jones and Lee have left the man with little to play with.
Thus, he has tried to implement John Duncan style tactics, without having John Duncan style players. I don't see what can be done though. We have 1 striker with league experience who's been injured, a non league striker coming into the game late who's also suffered injuries, mans kids.
I mean, look at the side starting yesterday, and how many would be on the team sheet if everyone was fit? 4 maybe 5.
Any manager would struggle with what we have.

But the million dollar question is are the injuries caused by his archaic and ill thought out training (in particular pre-season)?
