Not Uncle Dave's price tag for the club but the cost of watching Town stuff Wycombe tomorrow. Pretty decent value I reckon. I wonder how many will take advantage of the cost-cutting exercise and turn up?

Quickly looking online there seems to be no more than a few hundred sold in the East Stand. I hope there's more - 3500 wouldn't be a shocker given the status of the FA Cup these days & will be more a good few.

It isn't just us, as you say that would be a decent attendance

Not great for those arguing for affordable football.

Similar prices for the Scunny game 2 seasons ago when we were going well, with a local derby against Derby on the horizon and we could only get 6000

Midweek mind. If that had been a Saturday at those prices there'd have been 7k+ I reckon.

I really don't get the demise of crowds for the early FA cup rounds, 30 years ago they generally upped the gate, magic of the cup and all that!

I absolutely loved the FA cup as a kid and I still do, 1997 and the feeling after Hewitts equaliser is the absolute pinnacle of my years following the town...

So I for one am really looking forward to this afternoon and at a tenner a pop, I hope we get a minimum of 4000 home fans, as come the semi final I'm sure we will get a minimum of 24,000.... :D

Feeling unusually positive, COYB!!!

It's the demise of the entire competition.

Semis at Wembley, Man United being 'excused', Premier League obsession at the top end etc etc.

Semis at Wembley was an obscene devaluation of the cup final

Sad that the FA cup lost its standing in our national game. It once was special remember as a kid getting up to watch the final with the build up its a knockout etc it was great. Football wise I used to look forward to the cup going to first round home or away and yes I was at Blyth (it's fa cup got to mention that although it's been done before)

Bit odd really. On the bench while he regains match fitness?

Suspect he still got a niggling injury.

I'd say so at two quid a goal (and a sending off chucked in for free!)
