Funny really that the win he got here has cost them big time. They were so giddy after that he got a new contract on the spot virtually. Small thinking as usual.

Too late for them. No matter who takes over he still has mere non league players at his disposal. Not a decent player in the entire squad.

it could actually work against them - many of the non league players they have were signed by Cox, and would be playing northern premier football or similar were it not for him, and would feel loyalty to him as wellso if they bring in a manager who tries to play football, and the players simply are not capable of playing, will the 0-0 or 1-0 defeats be replaced by hammerings?

How many league clubs would play someone like Rhead? He isn't a league player. But, him and his ilk, while being crude, dull, and lacking goals it has been effective in terms of staying in the league. Imagine this same bunch of non league no hopers being asked to play good football? IMO they would be ripped apart. Fingers crossed eh.

A new hope.

Exactly, surely they're gona have to bring in a manager that will want to play football to try and tempt the fans back, however he won't be able to do that until he's got rid of the donkeys they've currently got on the books

Unless of course, radford dips into his pocket again...
