Well the Proact must look like Wembley when you are used to Field Mill.

Sorry Ernie, I don't agree..Radford says they are on course this season to get break even , yet in the same interview states the break even figure is 3,800 when average gates so far are circa 2,700. He , or rather Haslam, owns the ground with the club having no actual rights to it. It's smoke and mirrors on a major scale. Saying that we have Chris Turner ^_^

Just looked. I have to confess there is some great gallows humour. Love the one with the photo of the scout's note pad :D

One line on the scabs, half a page on Concorde

Cracking shot, but look how much room they gave him. Rotten defending. Only a decent save kept em in it. And that atmosphere...sounds like a practice game until the final whistle when the booing kicks in. You can only praise Concord, must have been very disappointing to trot out into that floodlit cemetary after all the struggle to get this far..great result and great to see Cheidozie on the scoresheet.

I think it's more a case of reducing their deficit than debt, 'Ern'.

Or trying to, at least.

From what my Mansfield mates tell me Comedy Radford slashed the budget last January insisting his club stand on it's own two and a half thousand pairs of feet. Meanwhile the five, perhaps six million owed to One Call (apparently they're a year behind in terms of revealing financial results) is frozen pending, well, some sort of minor miracle, I guess. Problem is he's still seeking an attendance break-even figure of three-eight, well over a thousand more than current levels and, given their meagre fanbase, a number I'd suggest they've rarely achieved over the last few decades.

I'm concerned about our debts and even more concerned that the CEO on whose watch they've multiplied seems to be beyond reproach. However I'm not sure our little neighbours are an example to follow when it comes to balancing the books.

I had to tell a Mansfield fan the score today, so disillusioned he didn't know.

Team bus turned up at Gay Meadow. For their match at Shrewsbury! You couldn't make it up!

Is there a possibility of a sequel with them now having to travel to Concord.

Maybe after 3or 4 laps of the M25 and failing to locate a signpost for Concord the driver will take a gamble and head for Heathrow.

John Cheidozie`s lad - a former spireites lad scores against the yellow stain. I might go to this one (in the home end obviously)
