Tomorrow's friendly against Leeds will give us a clear guide as to what to expect from them this season.
IMO Doyle will do better for us this year and I am not Armands biggest fan in terms of ability but I would like nothing more than to cheer goals from both of these tomorrow and this season
Armand has shown signs of improvement against non league teams but still needs to shine against better opponents
Given our apparent lack of funds I hope these two can score some goals

I hope we make some signings, my comments are based on what we have at the moment.
I have just read what I posted and I can't see where I have said no signings!

Pretty much did that last year with Ricco not being on form.

A lot of the press reporting last week that Wolves were looking to table a bid of around £400k for Davies.

Doyle
Made some good runs, some great work to create a great chance but tried to place the ball instead of breaking the back of the net. A quieter second half as played out wide
Armand
Made a real difference when he came on and helped create both Morsy goals, looked hungry and Leeds defenders liked him as they kept giving him hugs and trying to get his shirt at corners. My thoughts on Armand have improved after today and I hope he continues to improve.

Doyle was decent but his finishing... so, so inconsistent and he can't hit a ball with any sort of venom.

Armand go out on loan. personally i don't think so,the Leeds players hadn't got a clue what to do with him

I reckon Armand is our big hope this season
I thought Doyle always tries to hit it hard, came off a few times last year. Surely it's the guile that he's missing

Like I kept stating last season. Armand is a decent player, the lack of a reserve team started to affect his play because he wasn't getting regular competitive football. Now he's playing regularly, with a purpose to prove that the decision to try and ship him out on loan was a bad one.
You watch him kick on from this point.
And I don't just mean the opposition players.

the one thing that lets him down is his finishing, and will stop him having a career at a higher level. Shame, because his running on and off the ball, are first rate.

well lets hope that he does turn out to be the player no one thought he would be - I`ll happily eat humble pie if he does

At orient away I would be starting Armand and that's coming from one of his biggest critics.
The fact I'm even saying that at this point is worrying.
We are so so close to being a very good league one side, which again is extremely frustrating.. The depth isn't quite there but with a top striker like Higdon. Wow, I'd back our first XI to take on anyone in this league.

BIG BIG season for our ginger terrier
lets see if Emile Heskey wants to play for us on similar terms to Mcsheffry until Jan

Think our tactics for the season will be to play with the strongest midfield we can muster and keep things tight.I see Armand,as today, coming off the bench to change things.Good competitive game today and we showed Leeds how to play. What a quiet afternoon Tommy had with just having to deal with pass backs and a couple of pens.
