Help
Well after tonight's disaster. We now need to take action and strength the squad. I would like to see 3 players recruited. 1) New keeper. I'm not convinced by Loach when the going gets tough. 2) New central defender. Gunning is suffering from injuries. 3) Central midfielder - physically we are not winning the battles.

That would mean this division had Southend wrexham Stockport Grimsby Torquay Grimsby Dagenham and the two to come down - likely Oldham and Scunthorpe
And we wouldn’t have the windfall if the business disruption insurance and a Chelsea 3rd round pay off.
I’m spending terms well might be as low as 7th or 8 in a division that only has 2 promotions places. It’s not good odds.

We need a strong thug of a player to use against teams like tonight. I’m sure JR will be looking at strengthening. I really hope he moves Payne on as he doesn’t appear to benefitting the team

I fully agree. We need a couple of thugs in the side who can mix it. We are lacking this. In days gone by a Nicky Law or Darren Carr type character. I once saw Darren Carr at Alton Towers. He looked a right nutcase to be fair.
