Whereas what I see is you throw up some claims, someone gives a different view or alternate facts and then you ignore it and then at some later stage its just because I worry about a lefty takeover....

So how would Labour solve the NHS problem? we are all paying more taxes that at pretty much any time since the war (well those of who dont work cash in hand), when is enough enough? And how can you raise more if we are already paying more?

As for an election putting everyone out of their misery, even Rachel Reeves says she doesnt have a magic wand and it wont get better overnight...

Might worry about tax incomes though as apparently Rayner has a tax adviser, who she wont share, who knows rules that no one I know knows about (and my friends include tax partners at the biggest accountancy firms!), But its OK as SKS backs her even though he hasnt seen the advice...

PS got my Labour missions leaflet - because I do look at them and the manifestos before deciding .... It says "Get the NHS back on its feet by paying NHS staff to deliver 2 million more appointments on evenings and weekends". Lower down it says everything is fully funded. Putting those together with what you have already said.... where are these staff coming from? How much will it cost? Where is the money coming from? Its fully costed so there has to be an operational plan. Tell us....or will the devil be in the detail and big words are much easier than showing the detail...

Please tell me that is how you look at it and dont just go, its Labour it will all be fine!

PS it also says that we will have 13000 extra police and PCSOs (I assume they mean or and we arent having 26000 in total) and breakfast clubs in every primary school, and 500 new specialist teachers.... is that magic money tree available for all, or if not where is it being funded from? After all, its all worked through and fully funded....

(my guess is there will be mentions of efficiency gains and better collection and less waste somewhere in it)

Ian, mate; you've already said you'll 'look at the manifestos'.

So why are you wanting 'BB' contributors to pre-write them? To respond to your highly subjective 'whatifery'?

Scrutiny we don't see being applied to any other parties, of course.

Or could it be, as these latest long winded scorn-fests suggest, you've already made your mind up...

Nope, never judge a case until its made... I've already started looking at the missions.... looking forward to the detail. From all of them....But we pretty much know what one of them will offer as it has to follow from what they are doing now...

As I always say it is so much easier to criticise than deliver.... be prepared ;)

There is plenty of ridiculing of Tories on here, no more is needed. Although I may do in other company given I work with mainly Tory voters....

However, a bit of stuff to those that would vote red if they put a panda as the candidate, or who have no idea what they are really voting for but working class people vote red, is worth a bit of my time. It wont make any difference, as they had probably decided / been told who to vote for when they were 18 and have never thought about changing their minds... but I was brought up to look at both sides of any discussion before making a decision so here I am putting the alternate side as devils advocate...

I remember my economics teacher telling me of a lad a couple of years older who was brilliant at economics but struggled with more than 50% marks on some qyestions as he could only write economics according to Labour and couldnt put the alternative view and reach a reasoned conclusion. He was from Bowsa too. wet off to teach at a private school funnily enough (as if that didnt go against principles) but ended up working for the labour party....

Very elusive creatures who only surface for a short while, yep I’ll take the next “Tory light” government for a short spell before normal service is resumed.
BTW I am anti Labour so no need to throw that at me!

Where as pandas need others to feed them and basically look after them like slaves so they can survive. Red pandas are self sufficient and are better looking

In an odd turn of events, I find myself agreeing with Jacob Rees-Mogg

Only country in the west to have fully privatised water. Does anyone know if Labour are going to do anything about this?

Not mine, I hate the current lot as much as the next man. But I will judge manifestos when I see them, remembering that the current lot lie and cheat and can't be trusted.

1 down, 3 or 4 to go!

Never understood privatising water, natural monopoly, no competition after privatisation. Definitely an ideological one not a sensible choice...

This is the sort of interesting article which manifestos ought to be reflecting. But as always it will be tinkering round the edges whilst Britain burns...
