Think he was referring to Bob Newton being signed up for the Spire Lounge hostess
Personally that would put be off my dinner

you'll gain a sense of perspective by the time you buy your thirtieth season ticket
losing players isn't a big thing it has always happened, always will. I get far more upset at losing matches!

I imagine that we have had players lined up for a while but had to wait and see if Jimmy and Gary were staying before signing them up. Things should start moving anytime now.
Onwards and upwards

losing good players without signing adequate replacements yes.
We don't play many games in June, I'd wait until August to judge the new squad.
The squad did need freshening up, Paul Cook himself said this, we wouldn't have been able to do this without players leaving. We are a work in progress and in for an interesting ride.

Interesting indeed. Giles Coke would be a start now.

Losing out on a player to fleetwood is not cool, no matter what spin our incompetent CEO puts on it.
Fleetwood owner had spent 15 mil of his own moneyl getting them were they were at the beginning of last season how do we compete with that

But they are massively cost-cutting as well and released about 11 players after last season including lots of high earners.

No point bleating on about ryan and roberts now, they have gone. They want to play for someone else so time to move on and look to the future.
Im not happy at losing two good players like the rest of us , but i am looking forward to who DS brings in. We need a couple of signings soon to lighten the mood and i am sure we wil lget that.

head in the clouds v realists is more how I see it.
Not really been any reason not to be skeptical has there yet? If the players leave that do that is our playing staff and backroom staff gone.
