Are we getting anyone in??

What with nando and gardner out on loan ...duffy sent back...there should be funds available. ..so are we in for anyone and if so what position needs most attention. ...maybe a left back.....Don't know depends on jonesy's injury......
all we are saying, is give us ...a goal, or 2+

No strength in depth if we're looking to mount any sort of play-off push...

To right 52 points + is the only target I'm interested in.

Those that are clambering after 50+ points to stay up may as well not bother going to the games as they have no ambition in my view. Yes, we'd have all took that at the beginning of the season especially after what happened last time we were in this division, but the goalposts have moved a long way since the start of the season there isn't a cat in hells chance we'll go down. Yes we could end up quite easily in the bottom half of the league come the end of the season and we also could end up with a playoff spot. So let’s forget the bottom four (it isn’t going to happen) and get behind the lads for a playoff push. I'm sure the players believe they're good enough and can do it, so not to have half the fan base behind them isn't what they need. I can't imagine Cookie sending them out saying another couple of wins and you be safe from relegation or that a mid table finish looks good and is on the cards. I'm confident he and the players have the playoffs firmly in focus and where we end up at the end of the season is where we end up, though I'm 100% confident they are going for it, so why aren't the fans? All this talk of relegation is just pessimistic and defeatist.

Come on, we’ve already won the mind games against one of our possible playoffs opponents and I could see a fourth win there in a season if we were to meet again, now that really would be something special!

I agree- if we are not pushing for the play offs realistically after being 5th in January we all may as well give up

We're already well beyond our total from last time we were in this division and the lads deserve great credit for that!

Again ,agreed. I've always loved Banks (though I can't deny he's been shocking, though he did have a shocking injury to recover from with no reserve team or a loan move to help him).

Banks has been on loan at Northampton, Karl.

How did he do last night, anyone who went?

Played well, not quite up to Saturday's level but still influential. These last two games suggest he is getting back to being a real asset to the team. He can hit a decent deadball and is one of the few in our squad who I have any belief in when shooting from distance. What he is also offering is quick, one touch passing which is giving us the ability to play the ball through midfield. Having said that he hit a couple of good long passes last night which changed the direction of the attack really effectively. He seemed to be able to find Morsy who looks to be pushing forward more. Shame Morsy won't be available for the next couple of games to really cement this understanding. There were a few misplaced passes last night (not just Banks) but what was impressive was he seemed really keen to win the ball back. I have worried that he lacks the desire to get stuck into challenges but in the last two games he has shown a greater appetite to win the ball. I wonder if Cook will be tempted to use him as a straight replacement for Morsy whilst he's out.
Overall he played a key part in us playing a really good passing game through midfield and shows the speed of thought which brings the likes of Roberts and Ariyibi into the game quickly allowing them that little bit of extra time to do the damage we know they are capable of.
Let's hope he keeps this up.

Drew out on loan as well should also free up a few £££££

I`d like to see a good solid CB come in.

Although a CM for 1 month wouldn't hurt with our suspension.

A new hope.

Collins from Sheff utd is highly rated by no less than Brian the Blade :D and I thought their displaced RB, Allcock, looked very useful at our place
