:closedeyes: RIP Dave Mackay,a true legend in our time.Broke both legs in his career and still kept at the top.Cloughie did a major coup getting him to Derby. :glare:

Excellent player ...as BlueRover52 said one of Cloughies first " brilliant " signings ..major player in getting Derby up to First Division and ultimately leading them to Title in '75 with ( effectively ) Clough's team

Met him a few times 20 years ago he used to have a bet over the phone in the shop i ran, think he was a regular golfer at kedleston.

He was at Saltergate now and again when Roy Mac was manager. A genuine legend of the game.
