I can't believe the club didn't have a function on for Pancake Day

We are missing out on revenue here, plenty of people would have loved to have a gourmet pancake tea at the proact!

The club really is a mess - I blame Turner!

I thought this was going to be another thread about the lad who takes his shirt off.

And what about Thursday? I'd go maybe celebrate Thursdays at the pro act, maybe Thursday themed food and great Thursdays goals and matches of yesteryear Thursdays...

I don't really get the sarcasm over this...the club advertise it as the premier banqueting location in North Derbyshire and Mother's Day is probably the buisiest eating out day of the year..there might be a perfectly good reason why they arnt doing Mother's Day meals at the club but it seems odd!

Couldn't decide whether to serve ice cream or custard with the pancake.

If there was no other function on at the club on the same day, I'd say it's more than odd when we are trying to maximise income

I've a better idea still. Why not have a fortnightly "I'm not going anymore for whatever reason night". A great opportunity for all the loyal fans who are no longer going for whatever reason to show their true allegiance to the Spireites. Sure to be a great success!

Maybe that guy who wasn't going until Armand left the club could be a special guest.. Good idea though.

Perhaps he could be the guest speaker! The ideas hit on though. I've had three calls in the last few minutes asking for special themed evenings.
I. I'm not going whilst CT is still the Chief Exec night.
2. I'm not going 'cos they sold our best striker who hasn't scored yet for Cardiff (unfortunately) night.
3 I'm not going til they have a proper scoreboard night. This will be a very special event with the curtains left open and lists of those present displayed in flashing, very bright, blue on a pale blue background letters, sponsored by the Chad.

Lol I'll wait and attend the "owt better than scratching round at Saltergate in the late 80's, early 90's in front of 1600 fans going nowhere" evening. What did we have to moan about in the good old days? Apart from Nigel Hart?
