Don't get me wrong, as a person I'm sure he's a great guy. Can't fault his desire to play, it's just he is slow and not aware of players around him and not technically good, which amounts to gash. Why on earth PC still keeps playing him is beyond me because one thing is certain, if we rely on him to get us goals, then relegation beckons. So come on Cookie get us a decent centre forward and get rid of Armand no goals.

i remember when armand used to actually run at players ,i remember against wimbledon when he picked the ball up about half way and ran with it before laying it off sublimely to lester for a goal, that was what frightened players and that was what he did have that was good, but that one trait that he did have has for some reason gone,he is now not as good as he was once and thats saying something, for all the obsessed people on this forum who worship a flicked on 1980 style header as some kind of good football i ask ..has it ever won us a football match?

Although I wont blame him for the loss or owt like that... he is complete dross. Most of us have known that for a while now. Was he given a new contract at some point or is he out of contract at the end of the season?

Saw his debut and thought he'd got something as he ran with the ball and showed he had skill and a bit of pace for a big man. Unfortunately Cook seems to have tried to turn him into something he isn't, a big target man who's just there for physical presence. He looked more of a prospect facing goal with the ball at his feet running at defenders unfortunately that's not what he's been used for.

Can't really blame Armand for his lack of ability, Cook picks the team, Cooks currently gone into his not quite sure what he's doing mode, we've seen it before last season and this season in patches. It wasn't broken 4 5 1, why change? We need to pack the midfield. When's the loan market open again? If not we are stuck with playing Lavery in the solo striker role and he's no better than Dawes. I say try Clucas in that role. Sorry Armand, impact sub at best. Harrison seems a strange signing full stop to me. Doesn't fit our style, same with Mani.

He is making very confusing decisions at the minute. He has also made some very curious signings.

Look at what we were doing to Sheff U, Scunthorpe, Rochdale, even Port Vale and Crawley a few games ago, absolutely passing them off the park. Look at us now; a shadow of that side.

I wonder - and I'm by no means defending him, as you guys see the team week in/ week out whereas I don't - but were the signings made "to get somebody in" as it was late in the deadline day? Rubber stamping Doyle's exit didn't give much time to load our hook with good bait (so to speak). Perhaps if Eoin left at the start of the window, others might have arrived? Sliding doors, and all that? Or am I missing much more being this far away?

Perhaps you are missing players like Boco who keeps it simple but never gives the ball away - Just Saying

Armand wouldn't play again this season for me, send him back on loan to League 2, decide on who is the main striker (Lavery or Harrison) and play them in a 4-2-3-1 and hope Roberts is back soon!

A football basic, you NEVER substitute just before defending a set piece. Dozy decision.
If you do what you always do, you'll get what you always get.

He's got to be accountable to the bad performances as well as the good ones. I think he's a good manager as most would agree but certain times he goes of the rails with fiddling with tactics and team. We all know in a few weeks time we will go back to playing well in a 4 5 1.

Well I saw Boco give the ball away plenty of times and I'm not trying to get my tongue 3 inches up his ringpiece like you are. No, it's more likely that we're missing Eoin Doyle (60% of our goals) and Gary Roberts (our wide playmaker).
