Think i've got the 5-0 thumping of Rotherham on a DVD somewhere...may well have to dig that out for a watch at some point.

Anniversary yesterday, was doing the rounds on twitter too.

Seems a world away, now!

Yeh saw a few things including my facebook posts following the game which was still one of the best days at the Proact to date. Next will be the annual "David Elleray is a <insert expletive>" day....23 years on April 13th.

Just posted this on the Other Sport board but but NFL have opened up NFL Game Pass for free from today until the end of July. Full access to all game replays, NFL show archives and live NFL Network stuff. Details here and you sign up here.

Just enough time to really get into the game you are playing and end up buying the game so you can carry on.

Now there is an idea! I've a full stadium in storage, plus all the Mexico 86 flags I made for the spectators with country names in native languages. I love Mexico 86.

As for the NFL, fair play to them for opening it up but the season doesn't start until autumn (virus permitting)...... might be some interesting content so thanks for the pointer.

Football Manager- I play it (old tablet version) but it does seem a bit cynical to open it up just long enough for people to get hooked. Like those drug dealers you'd see on Grange Hill. Mind, if I do purchase the game I'll end up like Zammo.
These go to eleven.

I dont have a PC at home to play it on so unless they do something with the mobile version i'm safe!! We did have a load of the old versions on CD in a cupboard at my parents but i think my dad might have chucked them. He does have all my old Subbuteo in the garage along with my old lego, loads of old toy cars and a few other things. May be time to get them out of storage!!

What a week it will be. Sure they will offer some discount to those who want to upgrade and purchase.

Disappointed as I paid £30 for it not too long ago!

There is a mobile version of football manager, although I don't believe that has a free week

I have dug out my old VHS video recorder actually found a SCART socket and will wade through my video tapes at times to watch matches and highlights I cannot remember the scores of lol

Trouble is I have noticed that I have written the scores of some of the matches on the tape sleeves

I have the BBC Wales complete recording of the Wrexham quarter final somewhere to find but that might still be too stressful to watch lol knowing how Ellary robbed us in the semi

the semi final recording is somewhere as well

Update to the old VHS tapes search I am watching Man Utd v Spurs in the old first division from 1986 I think

Utd are winning 2-0 at halftime and whilest the quality of the tape is not actually HD quality the pace of the match seems frightening with the tackles flying in but no play acting or rolling around and the players are basically getting on with the match

A certain C Turner is playing in goal for Utd lol

Whiteside and Davenport have scored the goals in the first half with Jimmy Hill and Trevor always sitting on the fence Brooking giving the half time punditry

John Motson and Laurie Macnenemy are describing the action Will update the final score as the second half is just starting

What a second half Spurs scored two goals in a minute to level the scores with Chris Turner making a mistake for Magrath to score an own goal then Clive Allen scored a brave header to put Spurs in front
He got a bloodied nose for his effort and after brief treatment was given a sponge and carried on with blood on his shirt
Different times

Davenport scored a last minute equaliser for Utd final score 3-3 Attendance 36000

Just found out Liverpool v Chelsea from the following week is on the same tape lol

might watch that tomorrow

I am watching the quarter final against Wrexham for my 3pm football fix lol

Not the greatest 45 minutes from us but even the biased BBC Wales commentators admitted that we should have had a penalty when the Wrexham defender virtually caught the ball in two hands from a close range shot from Andy Morris

I am looking forward to the second half though

Its funny how time dulls the memory

Chris Beamounts goal came only 12 minutes into the second half when I thought it was later lol

For 20 minutes after that we really battered Wrexham and only Marriott in goal kept the score from being 3 or 4

the semi final is on tape next lol

I recall a penalty shout for them near the very end. How did that look 23 years on?
