We are hoping to have at least one game a week from the heritage collection; possibly more if we go to the digital age.

Unfortunately from the eighties there are few complete matches. If people have old VHSs of games or season highlight tapes/DVDs please let me know.

Now you appreciate some of the source footage I have to use!

It did lighten my mood a little actually. I had that on TV and on the iPad I was showing my lad stuff like the 2006 league cup wins and pictures of a ground he never got to go to.

Haha. Best one I’ve seen.

I saw there was a game on Skybet earlier (I had a nosey to see what sport there was and to feel smug about how skint the bookies will all be at the moment).

Are they even being played behind closed doors?

Still fans there. Had a fiver on a toss game earlier on bet365.

Full complements of paying fans. Lukashenko has told them that the rest of the world has gone mad regarding coronavirus, and that his people should “ drink vodka, work hard in the countryside and visit the sauna.”. What he says, goes. For those Belarusians who haven’t emigrated yet. I went once and no joke, outside Minsk it was poorer than Siberia.
These go to eleven.

Deflected cross, Grimsby player letting it run out, Town player got a foot to it and kept it in, linesman signaled throw indicating it was to Chesterfield. Throw to unmarked man to cross as Town players were walking over to take the throw.

Do you have footage of this? Your version is more comprehensive and probably more accurate than my time/ale haggled memories.

Yes, that match was one I converted from VHS to do the highlights. However we might live stream it over the coming weeks.

my VHS retro match tonight will be the Cheltenham match at home in 2001 which was live on Sky

Cant really remember much about the match except that I can remember the score it was on a Friday night I think and it was just as the revelations about possible wrong doings as it turned out by you know who were beginning to surface

not got round to watching the match yet because the prematch build up is dynamite in itself

In the studio is Micky making snide remarks against us Adams who was BRIGHTON manager at the time and Clive Walker who was an ex Cheltenham player so the dice loaded against us from the start

No wonder the sparks flew when we played Brighton with Adams in charge

Bob Bloomer a sub for Cheltenham

Rob Hawthorne and Chris Kamara commentators

Obviously a non starter for many but cheap vodka might be useful as a hand sanitiser!

To say that Cheltenham gifted us two goals in the first 15 minutes is an understatement with Reeves and Edwards scoring

Not the best of performances but we were then 16 points clear at the top but Brighton had 5 matches in hand and smirky adams said that they had not given up hope of catching us lol

Thank god masterbution hasn't been banned

Ireland has issued guidelines on safe sex during the coronavirus pandemic, writes Rory Carroll in Dublin.

Only be sexually active with someone you live with and who does not have the virus or symptoms of the virus, and avoid kissing anyone outside your household or who has symptoms, say the Health Service Executive guidelines.

“Taking a break from physical and face-to-face interactions is worth considering, especially if you meet your sex partners online or make a living by having sex. Consider using video dates, sexting or chat rooms. Make sure to disinfect keyboards and touch screens that you share with others.”

Masturbation will not spread coronavirus, it adds. “Especially if you wash your hands (and any sex toys) with soap and water for at least 20 seconds before and after.”

Lets get started (or finish)

Have they issued separate guidance for Catholic priests?

Tonight I am watching a Scotland v England home international which was live on ITV with Brian Moore and Trevor Brooking as commentators

The referee is an Italian and I never understood why this match was always refereed by a continental referee because imo they never understood the passion and feeling in this particular match

I had a rough idea of the year but then Leighton in the Scotland goal has just picked up a back pass which makes it a bit earlier than what I thought lol

Thought the last one was 1989 ish. Didn't Steve Bull play in it, and score, despite being a 3rd division player at the time?
The greatest miscarriage of justice since my case against the producers of the Never Ending Story

I think he did but Wolves were Second Division by then.

*I've checked they'd been promoted in the season that just ended so we're both right I guess!
