When football eventually restarts players and managers will start complaining about being tired playing 2 games a week.
But sorry, they need a reality check as to what tired is, how many footballers have volunteered their time to the NHS?
Some players might benefit from motivational talks from frontline NHS staff to get a real understanding of what being tired really is and putting your life on the line for your job.

Bit harsh on footballers though- hardly their fault.
Ridiculous all papers always compare footballers wages with nurses etc.
Why not film actors or CEO’s etc ...

Not really, as they are the only ones going to the media with statements likeWe play too many gamesWe want a winter breakPlayers are tired as we have played twice this week
Out of interest as you appear to be in the game. On average how many hours a week do footballers work?
Have passport will travel

Varies massively.
Training - up to 3 hours team training daily + individual work and rehab etc.
Away games - can be obviously 12hr + days
Home games- 6-7 hours
Contracted hours- maybe media maybe sponsor events etc.

Maybe 30-36 hours a week but obviously may differ weekly......

And, whilst they may have a busy Christmas, but not as busy as it used to be, they get quite a bit of the summer off to go on holiday, cut the grass, and watch the cricket.

Additionally, the multi-millionaires have a mid-season break to sort their finances out!!!

Can probably add in the additonal electricity from home working, for example we have two laptops and two monitors on the go all day now, along with any additional gas for heating as whilst the weather is better folk may still need to heat homes at times when they would normally be at work.

On the plus side you save travel costs to compensate

Yeh, for me it’s considerable as I commute to Derby and back every day. Plus we’re saving of a fair few quid in nursery costs as well plus the day a week the dog goes to Doggy day care.

Nope, Paul lemon. It’s actually his partners business but he often looks after the dogs as well.

Hope they aren't at the front of the queue, next, claiming assistance to repay their credit card bills.
