It should be voided if the FL season is suspended beyond April 3rd. Write the season off and go again as you were in August.

Do you think the NPL will do the same? I suspect they will.

I don’t really see the grounds for it as most of these lads playing are doing 9 to 5 jobs anyway

We won’t be playing in April I’m almost certain of it, from what we’ve been told at work, sport is on the back burner for the foreseeable

The idea everything will return to normal in the space of a month is ludicrous.

Infact the only question now is do we write off the current season or finish it as things stand? With those currently in the promotion and relegation slots swapping places? But then what about play-offs? What about the many clubs who've played a different number of games? What about contracts ending and summer moves?

There is no easy answer, however the only plausible way forward has to be declaring the 19/20 season null and void and hopefully starting again in August...

No solution is fair but the fairest decision is to pretend that this season didn't happen.
