And the sooner the PL EFL and NL make that decision the better imo

Extending the season just isn't feasible.
What about all the players whos current deals are up this summer? and the players who've already signed pre-deals elsewhere.
The ONLY sensible decision is to void the whole season.

It is feasible and is probably the most likely approach. We are more likely to finish this season in 2020 at some point than start next season in August in my opinion.

The could easily extend the EFL (And probably out level) by 6 weeks but the issue is 6 weeks enough? Doesn't sound like it!

It's not simply about finding a fair solution to a football matter, more about trying to stop folk from spreading a virus by keeping them from gathering in numbers in stadia, and the timescale for the virus to die down significantly looks a long term one from what I've read.

Now UEFA are taking about postponing Euro 2020 to allow leagues to be completed and a min tournament to resolve the Chumps League
That sounds like a pig that won't fly

And that doesn't account for players either. It's only football. Scrap everything til August.
According to BBC there are some NL games going ahead tomorrow

The idea everything will return to normal in the space of a month is ludicrous.
Infact the only question now is do we write off the current season or finish it as things stand? With those currently in the promotion and relegation slots swapping places? But then what about play-offs? What about the many clubs who've played a different number of games? What about contracts ending and summer moves?
There is no easy answer, however the only plausible way forward has to be declaring the 19/20 season null and void and hopefully starting again in August...

More to the point what happens 30th June when a number of contracts expire. Players in limbo land with no income if the current filly rallying by the authorities carry on
God I hate this league.
