I cancelled Sky Sports this afternoon

Stung for £60, I will not re-subscribe for a long while, was getting bored of VAR and over hyped matches and recent attitude towards live sport being postponed not cancelled, hence why I will not continue to feed the Sky Sports cash cow

I see the club has been closed until the end of March with all conference and banqueting events suspended. Is it business as usual at Napoleon Casinos and Owlerton Events & Conferencing?

Includes Darren Currie as manager as well although he has a longer notice period so if things get going again before it runs out he will stay on as manager.

Can someone explain the logic behind why some of our supporters who have been extremely vocal about the National League's decision not to postpone games and the associated health risks still chose to go to Dover today?

A mate's sent me the text.

I'll paraphrase for 'BB' members.

Tweet 1: 'Damn the National League for putting fans at risk of being infected!'

Tweet 2: 'Wha-hey! Look at me the superman travelling five hundred miles to a game...adding to the risk of fans getting infected' (that last bit's mine).

Blimey, what next; 'I hate everything that's happened at the Club...where I've sat in the Boardroom for the last two years'?

Moondog,

Can you ask Ashley if it is business as usual at A&S Leisure and if it is, why is CFC's approach being handled differently?

Tbf A.C was expressing the Club's view not his own. It would have also been wrong to send the team and not attend himself. He was always on a loser either way.

t
The more important question is should the Club have refused to play? Risking the loss of a point, as it transpired, and a points deduction.Probably consigning us to relegation.

I thought it was DA, and not A&SL, that owns 60% of CFC
. I may be wrong though.

Seeing as Dave Allen owns both businesses, I would expect a similar, if not identical approach. Let's see what Ashley / Moondog has to say.

Shame the prime motive for the postponement was not the health of all and sundry.
