Understood clarevoyant. I missed the Sid Buller incident by about 10 minutes in the Queens Park

Yes, a man sent by the so called authorities to disrupt a none establishment team who where getting above their station.

The '97 model goes to show we where born in the wrong place to gain major sporting achievement, but they can not take the proudness of our North Derbyshire roots away

Derbyshire is Derbyshire
Yorkshire is Yorkshire

The track on top of the Hornscroft banks have gone because kids don't play like we used to.

might not be a bad thing though, certainly on the dykes field bank - the damage done to a medieval earthwork by kids on BMX in a few short years.........and I was one of them
A new hope.

Sorry C I've not done this for a while but as you've done the same thing twice in one post I couldn't hold back any longer. It's another one that's become more and more common and I've no idea why and I was wondering if you could shed any light on why it happens. Is it a spellchecker thing?
Where instead of were, why?

People mistake things for things they miss.

No one misses cold houses, sharing bath water and coal fires. No one misses not eating meat everyday, and having porridge for breakfast and jam sandwiches for lunch, or having to share your brothers bike.

They miss being young.

It just happens that this is what they had when they were young.

.....or in my case my sister's bike.

Thanks for not highlighting my spelling error in an earlier post. Yes I can spell abolition but I type almost as fast as I think and it out came out as abolishion [shame] and the edit button had lapsed.

Mr Jones my English teacher would have made me write it out six times.

I need a proof reader.

Spelling errors and typos I can live with, no ones perfect. Sometimes though when I see the wrong word being used all the time I just have to say something. Where and were, loose and lose and been and being are particular ones that set my teeth on edge. Posted Image
