Disturbing the club have made it public, hard to see a way back

Says to me it's A) bad, and B) backed up by some pretty strong evidence.

No way back from here for me.

The rumour mill isn't pretty either

The investigation needs to happen sharpish. This can't be allowed to drag on otherwise performances will suffer. One way or another swift action by the Trust is needed.

The Trust being who they are will be doing things by they brook. I don’t see this being over sharpish unless it is a very trivial accusation which seems very unlikely

As someone who recently had to suspend a member of staff over an allegation and found all clear, maybe I am trying to be positive on this too.

It could be nothing (or nothing provable) and would have to be very serious to warrant dismissal. so I am being positive for now!

There’s usually ill feeling and a bit of a stink hanging round after misconduct allegations, whether they’re proven or not. It’s very rare that both sides go back to a happy relationship.
I really hope I’m wrong in this instance.

Has all the hallmarks of Stockport last season with Jim Gannon, when they were top, suspended and subsequently lost any momentum with it too.

If Rowe is sacked, it’s important we get someone in pronto.

They are reporting that he won't be charge for weekends game so it's not gonna be sorted over next few days.

The Club's official press release just says that "Danny Webb will take charge of the team." No reference as to when that period ends.

Clutching at straws here but the club statement states "misconduct" that is less severe than "Gross Misconduct" And is usually not severe enough for the sack.

Might be time to start a new manager thread. FFS. Why can't following this club just be straightforward.

I'd like to say that I am surprised, but I'm not.

Yes M that's my take too - must be a serious allegation of misconduct for the club to go public rather than simply deal with it in-house - doesn't bode well.....

They had to make it public, wouldnt take long these days for rumours to be circling on social media etc. Better they are up front, make people aware and get it dealt with.

Never has been mate. I’m envious of clubs like Rochdale and Walsall that just seem to have plodding boring seasons in League 2 every year without ever threatening promotion or relegation.

What’s happened to us past 6 seasons would look too fantasy if it were dramatised in a Netflix saga.

Hopefully Webb will set the team up to how we used to play and bring the midfield back and plays Asanti up front with Kabbs. Non of this hoof ball nonsense.

I noted that too. Could well be an important factor.

No, it's important we get the right man and I'd stay with Webb if he doesn't go with JR.
God I hate this league.

Because the club have formally announced this to the worlds media....this is a serious issue. JR is at a higher profile club than where he has been previously, there is no hiding place.

Let's hope it is resolved, but i'm afraid this is going to get attention on a wider scale now. It puts the club in a good light by not turning a blind eye to employee conduct, but JR is under scrutiny now & it can't be good. I'm some he regrets some of his actions, but how does he come back from it?

After all the positivity of what JR has achieved & the national exposure we got from Chelsea....it's a huge step back & demoralising for the ever growing fanbase.

Expect other things to come out of the woodwork now...always does when your at the top...your there to be shot down.

Twitter is rife with rumours. One which seems to keep coming up is his decorum and the way he speaks to his staff. Alan biggs has seconded it saying its what he has been hearing recently. If that's the case then it could just be an apology and a way back. Depending on what has been said and done.

Some interesting tweets out there….

I’m not surprised. Very disheartening. Maybe we pull together. Maybe we collapse. Fingers crossed for the former.

The problem is, Rowe has form for that type of behaviour. If he is treating people badly then get rid. It will happen again. And I say this as a massive fan of his and I'll be gutted to lose him.
